I bought this cradle because it docks my iPhone with it's protective case still on.
However, as mentioned earlier, it does not behave well when connected to a usb hub (including a powered hub).
I've also taken some black insulation tape and covered the overly bright LED light indicating that the hub is receiving power. That LED is bright enough to be distracting from the corner of my eye.
I'm now wondering if there is another cradle out there that accepts iPhones in their cases and plays well with a usb hub.

This worked great ... for about 8 months. (The warranty period is 6 months.) Then it stopped charging my phone. My iphone screen started saying it is a device not made to be used with an iphone.

I will say it is easy to get service reps on the Seidio website but, on the other hand, they aren't very helpful. One told me that connections were probably loose somewhere and that, if I bought a new one, I should check it carefully when it came. For what? It is a sealed device. There is nothing to check.

I asked another service rep how long I could expect the thing to work. Was 8 months normal? She said that it depended how I use it. I keep it on my desk and put my iphone into it and then take it out again. I wondered how other people use it that might cause it to last a longer or shorter time?

So I am buying a new one and hoping I get another 8 months out of it. The last one I got worked well but not for long. I don't know how many stars I should give this product? Five stars ... but only for 8 months, then it drops to no stars.

I found this while searching for a charging cradle for the iPhone 4 that would work with the iPhone 4 bumper in place. There are some negative reviews, but for less than twenty bucks I figured I could take a chance. I've been using it for a couple of weeks now, and it's perfect. It charges and syncs my iPhone 4 without me having to remove the bumper, and even looks reasonably good sitting on my desk cradling the phone. I personally like it well enough that I just ordered a second one for my home office.
