These woodchips are the perfect size for the masterbuilt electric smoker. Cherry wood is excellent for smoking boston butts, ribs, and chicken.

From the product photo, I was afraid that this wood might be in chunks, rather than chips. This might have been a problem for me, since I use a propane smoker. (I know, cue the purists' rants.) These chips produced a nice cherry flavor in my pork that my family loved.

I think these chips are fine, not sure how to grade them scientifically but they seemed healthy (no fungus, termites, not green and not barky) and I could grab a nice chunk of them in my mighty meaty fists but they're still large enough to be fine for smoking without burning away quickly.
